JCI In A Week Not Excited, Market Capitalization Drops 0.18 Percent
JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded that the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) weakened a week. JCI ended at 6,700.56.
Citing IDX data, Sunday, May 21, the JCI fell 0.11 percent a week to 6,700.56. This achievement was compared to last week's position at 6,707.76.
The increase occurred in the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange for a week of 10.26 percent to 21.011 billion shares. Last week, the average daily transaction volume of the stock exchange was at 19.055 billion shares.
The average daily transaction value of the Exchange decreased by 1.43 percent to IDR 10.018 trillion from IDR 10.164 trillion in the previous week.
Furthermore, the average daily transaction frequency of the Exchange has changed by 7.52 percent to 1,270,046 from 1,373,328 transactions a week earlier.
Exchange market capitalization changed by 0.18 percent to IDR 9,504.018 trillion from IDR 9,521.038 trillion at the close of last week.
Foreign investors today recorded a net purchase value of IDR 1.04 trillion and throughout 2023 foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of IDR 17.014 trillion.
