Only Around Indonesia On Holidays, Ganjar: There Are Still Tasks In Central Java
JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP)-backed presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo ensures that he will only travel to various regions on weekends. Because, Ganjar must complete his job as Governor of Central Java on weekdays.
"I still have a task, right, in Central Java. So, if it's a holiday, I'll just go," said Ganjar, quoted from his written statement, Friday, May 19.
This weekend, Ganjar said he was going to Palembang, North Sumatra. He plans to visit the city after leaving for Manado, North Sulawesi on Thursday, May 18 or during the holiday commemorating the increase in Jesus Christ.
"The next agenda, God willing, will go to Palembang. Palembang will be on Saturday," he said.
During visits from various regions, Ganjar said that he would stay in touch with local PDIP cadres and administrators. This step is a form of consolidation.

However, there is a possibility that he will visit the United Development Party (PPP) DPW office. This step has been taken during visits to several areas such as North Sulawesi and West Java.
"Yes, I think this is the second (visiting the PPP office when visiting the area, ed) after yesterday from West Java," said Ganjar.
In addition, Ganjar admitted that he did not have certain priorities when he visited the regions to meet PDIP cadres and administrators. "Like this Thursday I went to North Sulawesi because we were better prepared. Then we went to North Sulawesi to meet friends from PDIP, from PPP, and several volunteers," he concluded.
