Hasbi Hasan Writes To KPK Asking To Be Recalled As A Suspect Next Week
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Hasbi Hasan had written asking for the postponement of the investigation as a suspect. In fact, he should have been investigated regarding the bribery case in case management today.
"It should have been called (Hasbi Hasan, ed) earlier. However, the person concerned submitted a letter asking for a delay," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, Wednesday, May 17.
Alexander said in the letter, Hasbi asked for his examination to be postponed until next week. "He will come," he said.
Even so, the anti-corruption commission does not want to just believe it. Alexander still conveyed the ultimatum to Hasbi in good faith.
"We hope that the good faith of the person concerned will fulfill the KPK's summons," explained Alexander.
Previously, Hasbi's involvement was detected after his name was mentioned in the indictments of Theodorus Yosep Parera and Eko Suparno who are lawyers. Mentioned, he helped in managing the case in the Supreme Court with the intermediary Commissioner of PT Wika Beton Dadan Tri Yudianto.
