KPK Auctions Diamond Studded Jewelry And 2 Corruption Case Vehicles, Interested?
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Jakarta III State Wealth and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) will conduct an auction of state booty in the form of jewelry ranging from bracelets to diamond-edged rings and 2 units of four-wheeled vehicles.
"The KPK will carry out an auction for the execution of the booty of the state without the presence of auction participants with the type of auction bid via the internet (closed bidding)," said Acting KPK spokesman for the field of prosecution Ali Fikri, Thursday, January 21.
This auction was carried out based on the decision of the Corruption Court at the DKI Jakarta High Court Number 03 / PID / TPK / 2015 / PT.DKI dated March 25, 2015 for the convicted person Syahrul Rajasampurnajaya and the Corruption Court Decision at the Bandung District Court Number 113 / Pid.Sus-TPK / 2018 /PN.Bdg April 8, 2019, for the convicted person Hendry Saputra.
The items being auctioned included one white gold bracelet with five diamond eyes, one white gold necklace with five diamond eyes, two white gold earrings with diamond eyes, and a white gold ring with diamond eyes.
All the jewelery is sold in one package, with a limit price of IDR 240,451,000 and a security deposit of IDR 50 million.
Furthermore, the KPK also auctioned a black Mitsubishi Triton double cabin car without a police number. This car is being auctioned with a limit price of IDR 355,373,000 and a security deposit of IDR 72 million.
In addition, the Corruption Eradication Commission also auctioned a black metallic Chevrolet Spark car with Nopol D 1614 AGU with a limit price of IDR 153,191,000 and a security deposit of IDR 31 million.
"The auction can be accessed via www.lelang.go.id on Tuesday, January 26 with the deadline for the bid at 11.00 WIB," Ali explained.
For information, Hendry Saputra is a staff at the Sukamiskin Class I Prison. He was convicted in the bribery case of providing facilities, permits, and others in the prison where the convicted corruption case completed his prison term.
Meanwhile, Syahrul Raja Sampurnajaya is a former head of the Ministry of Trade's Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappeti) who was convicted of corruption and money laundering cases.
