Leaving Washington DC, Donald Trump Was Welcomed By Supporters In Florida

JAKARTA - Former US President Donald Trump proved his remarks, not to attend the inauguration of the President and Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Wednesday, January 20 local time.

Trump chose to leave the White House on Marine One Helicopter to head to Andrews Military Air Base. Here, Trump gave a speech to his supporters who were present there.

"It's been four incredible years, we've achieved a lot together. Thanks to family, friends and staff. What we did was extraordinary by any standard." he said, launching theguardian.

"I think they (the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris Administration) will be a huge success. They have the basis for doing something very spectacular," Trump continued.

Trump then thanked members of Congress for helping the administration run for the past four years. He closed his speech by saying goodbye again.

"Have a good life. We will see you again," concluded Trump who was accompanied by his wife, Melania.

The two then boarded the Presidential Air Force One plane which took him to fly to Florida, where Trump would spend his days after leaving the US President.

Arriving in Florida, Trump was greeted by hundreds of loyal supporters, who lined the route from the airport to Palm Beach, where Trump and Melania's Mar-a-Lago residence is located.

Most of them do not wear masks and have minimal social distancing. They wore Trump hats, waved flags and carried signs with slogans including 'Still my president' and 'Trump 2024'.
