Kamala Harris Officially Appointed Vice President Of The United States
JAKARTA - Kamala Devi Harris was officially appointed as the 49th Vice President of the United States (US), replacing incumbent Mike Pence on Capitol Hill, Washington DC, United States, Wednesday, January 20 local time.
Kamala Harris swore an oath as Vice President of the United States in accordance with the United States Constitution, guided by United States Chief Justice Sonia Sotomayor and accompanied by her husband Douglas Craig Emhoff.

Biden-Harris won 306 electoral votes (51.5%), while Trump-Pence only won 232 electoral votes (46.9%), out of the minimum 270 electoral votes needed to win the US Presidential Election.
