A Gang Of Bercelurit Robbers In The Bekasi Industrial Estate Was Arrested
BEKASI - The Bekasi Metropolitan Police arrested two of the three perpetrators of violent theft or theft who often acted in industrial areas after receiving reports of victims.
Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi said the two perpetrators arrested were YS (21) and BI (20). One perpetrator with the initials AS was on the wanted list after fleeing.
"The incident took place in front of the Customs and Excise office in the Bekasi Regency industrial area for victims on behalf of Agung Firmansyah. Currently, we have arrested two perpetrators, first the initials YS and the second initials BI," he said in Cikarang as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 10.
Twedi explained that this case stems from the report of the victim who claimed to have been robbed when he was about to return from his colleague's house via Jalan Sumatra, Industrial Estate, Bekasi Regency. at night.
Then three people came riding two motorbikes approaching the victim and immediately stabbed a sharp weapon in the form of a sickle towards the victim's back.
Luckily, the victim managed to avoid the slash. The victim immediately responded by running away from the motorbike towards the security post to ask for help.
"After 10 minutes in the security post, the victim returned to the location. But the motorbike had been taken away by the perpetrators," he said.
The police who received reports of victims immediately gave chase until they managed to arrest two of the three perpetrators in the West Cikarang District.

Based on the results of the interrogation, the YS perpetrator turned out to be a recidivist of a similar case who had just been released from prison four months ago. "The results of the development, the perpetrators have committed five thefts in other locations, so this is the same with a total of six cases," he said.
The perpetrator was charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code regarding violent theft with a maximum penalty of nine years in prison.
