Right At The Restaurant, Prisons Must Also Install A List Of Food Menu For Prisoners
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Greater Jakarta Ombudsman, Dedy Irsan, directly inspected public services at the Cipinang Class 1 State Detention Center (Rutan) on Tuesday, May 9. A review to ensure that services at the Cipinang Detention Center run according to the SOP.
The review was carried out starting from the online-based registration process using applications, inspection of goods and visitor bodies in P2U, the mechanism for storing goods to Correctional Inmates (WBP) to visiting rooms for WBP and visitors.
After that, Dedy Irsan and his team continued their review of the Cipinang Detention Center Clinic. There he returned to communicate with the existing inmates being hospitalized and clinical doctors to ensure good service quality and according to the SOP.
The review was also carried out in the kitchen section of the Cipinang Rutan as a provider of food services and residential blocks for the Inmates.
"All officers when carrying out their duties must comply with existing regulations and SOPs, including the fulfillment of WBP rights, must comply with Law Number 22 of 2022 which has been stipulated," said Dedy, Tuesday, May 9.

Dedi appealed to the Head of the Rutan to make a banner in the kitchen area of the Cipinang Rutan which contained information on the food menu for the inmates for one month.
Meanwhile, Head of Cipinang Detention Center Ali Sukarno said he would improve performance and follow up on directions and input from the Head of the Greater Jakarta Ombudsman Representative.
"We will immediately follow up," he said.
