Man Of The Year 2019 From GQ Korea Perspective
JAKARTA - GQ Korea Magazine again announced their version of Man Of The Year. Four public figures namely Lee Dong Wook, WINNER's Mino, NU'EST's Minhyun, and Oh Hyuk were appointed as the 2019 Man of the Year and will be doing a photo shoot for the December issue of GQ magazine.
The selection of Man of the Year was not only done in Korea but also for the UK, US, German and Spanish versions of GQ magazine. The people selected for the Man Of The Year are trusted figures who are influential and take on challenges in the creative industry.
GQ Korea also mentioned the achievements of the Man Of The Year this year. Lee Dong Wook successfully played Seo Moon Jo, a psychopath dentist in the drama Stranger from Hell. This is also the second time Lee Dong Wook won the GQ Korea version of the Man Of The Year title after last year.
Then there is WINNER's Mino or known as Song Mino, the rapper and public figure who plays a big role behind WINNER's hit songs. GQ Korea appreciates Mino as a figure who shows his musicality both as a soloist and as a group member and deserves the title of artist.
In the future, Mino and WINNER will hold a concert tour. Jakarta is also included in the list, namely on 21 December.
Next, Oh Hyuk. The vocalist of the band HYUKOH managed to take the South Korean music scheme even higher by holding a world tour and performing at the biggest festival Coachella with his indie band without the frills of international expansion. Oh Hyuk is claimed to be showing a new side of Korean music because so far the public only knows K-pop as a popular genre.
Finally, Minhyun, a member of the K-pop group NU'EST who just returned to the group after finishing promotions with Wanna One. His first musical project 'Marie Antoinette' is also a good tribute to Minhyun.
Reporting from Soompi, Tuesday, November 19, the four versions of GQ Korea's 2019 Man Of The Year will attend GQ Korea's year-end party to celebrate their selection as influential figures.
