MacBook Pro M1 And MacBook Air M1, Can Be Purchased In Indonesia

JAKARTA - iBox Indonesia as Apple's official distributor has finally officially released the latest Apple laptop powered by the M1 chipset. These two laptops are the MacBook Air M1 and MacBook Pro M1.

The M1 chipset made by Apple, which is the engine of the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, is made through 5nm fabrication processing technology. The chipset is also combined with 16GB RAM and up to 2TB of SSD internal storage.

The MacBook Pro M1 comes with a 13.3-inch True Tone Full HD display with support for 500 nits of brightness and P3 color. The screen is also supported by an HD camera for Face Time needs and is equipped with three microphones.

In terms of performance, the laptop is powered by the M1 chipset which is capable of delivering a 2.8 faster CPU, up to five times faster graphics speed, and the Neural Engine via machine learning technology is 11 times faster.

The machine learning technology in the Neural Engine which has sixteen cores can enhance the work related to photo and video editing more professionally.

With the performance configuration above, the MacBook Pro M1 laptop battery is claimed to last up to 20 hours of use. This laptop uses a new look through MacOS Big Sur.

MacOS Big Sur offers increased security and privacy for MacBook Pro M1 users better as well as response speed related to browsing activities of photos, documents to Safari.

While other features on the MacBook Pro M1 are Touch ID, Apple TV, App Store, passwords to open documents, Wi-Fi 6, and two Thunderbolt ports which have a bandwidth speed of 40Gbps.

Not much different from the Pro variant, the MacBook Air M1 also comes with a 13.3-inch Retina screen with Full HD resolution and P3 color support.

Regarding the specifications, this MacBook Air M1 brings more powerful and efficient performance compared to other laptops in general thanks to the presence of the CPU, GPU, DRAM, and Neural Engine in it.

Apart from that, the chipset is also paired with 16GB RAM and up to 2TB SSD storage. Apple claims the CPU is up to 3.5 times faster, the GPU is 5 times faster, and the Neural Engine which relies on machine learning is 9 times faster.

With this configuration, the battery is believed to last up to 18 hours of use and the engine works quieter for a more stable temperature.

Regarding the newest interface, just like the MacBook Pro M1, the MacBook Air M1 also has the latest interface, namely MacOS Big Sur with new displays and applications, enhanced privacy and security features, and more.

Other features available on the MacBook Air M1 include an HD camera for video calls, Touch ID, Wi-Fi 6, and two Thunderbolt ports.

In Indonesia, the MacBook Pro M1 is priced at IDR 25,099,000 while the MacBook Air M1 is priced at 16,999,000.
