Police Interrogated 4 Hours, Nindy Ayunda Just Said 'ask For Prayer'

JAKARTA - West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Detective Unit investigators examined singer Nindy Ayunda for four hours. Nindy was questioned regarding her husband Askara P Harsono's involvement in the possession and abuse of narcotics.

West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head AKBP Ronaldo Maradona Siregar said Nindy Ayunda's legal adviser had come to inform him of his client's readiness to be questioned.

"The legal adviser came to my office and said that yesterday Sister Nindy was unable to attend, so she asked for an examination today," Ronaldo said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 19.

Nindy then went to the office to investigate a narcotics case involving her husband at around 13.30 WIB.

Until now, Nindy's status is still a witness in the case. Ronaldo said the examination was proceeding smoothly.

He did not say exactly how many questions were given to get Nindy's explanation.

Apart from that, the only confirmed examination material to this point is the extent to which Nindy knows that her husband used narcotics and the evidence found in his house.

The rest, Ronaldo has not been able to deliver other examination material to Nindy. The information concerned is still required for a case title with the investigator.

"Because in the context of narcotics users, I really have to understand it. Those who know it should be in accordance with the mandate of the law, should report it," said Ronaldo.

After undergoing an examination, Nindy Ayunda came out of the room at around 17.30. He did not answer in detail how many questions were directed at him.

"Please pray," said Nindy.

Nindy's summons were based on the facts of the arrest of Askara P Harsono (APH) at her house along with the findings of evidence on Thursday, January 7.

Several items of evidence confiscated by the officers included one "happy five" item, one small plastic item, half a "happy five" item, a suction device and a firearm along with 50 bullets.

Askara's urine test was found to be positive for amphetamine and metafetamine, which are addictive substances in drugs.

The suspect will be charged under Article 127 paragraph 1 letter a of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 62 concerning psychotropics with a threat of five years and / or a fine of IDR 100 million.
