Still In Love, Inara Rusli Says There Is No Divorce Agreement With Virgoun
JAKARTA - After revealing many things related to the affair committed by Virgoun through social media, Inara Rusli finally appeared in public. To the media crew, she responded to her husband's divorce suit.
Different from Virgoun's statement and his team of attorneys who stated that the divorce had become an agreement with Inara and her family, the former girl band member said the opposite.
"Not really. The agreement is not with me," said Inara Rusli in Cilandak, South Jakarta on Thursday, May 4.
Through his statement, Inara did not seem to want to end her household with Virgoun. He said there was still love from him for the father of his three children.
Love must be love, regardless of whether he pretended or not to be with me. But this marriage is not always about love, but there is responsibility and piety to Allah," said Inara.
Virgoun's attorney statement which said that the children would be jointly cared for after the divorce was also denied by Inara. He and his attorney felt that they had not received any notification regarding the divorce suit that had been officially filed at the West Jakarta Religious Court.
However, Andy Mulia Siregar as Inara Rusli's attorney stated that he and his client were ready to face the divorce lawsuit filed by Virgoun.
"If Virgoun file a lawsuit, we will face it with all the consequences," said Andy.
Again, talking about the possibility of her divorce from Virgoun, Inara admitted that she had asked several parties for help to mediate the domestic problems that had been going on since the pandemic.
"Before it went viral, I had tried mediation by asking for help from several parties, but it was a dead end," concluded Inara Rusli.
Now, Inara says that she no longer lives at home with Virgoun since the affair with her husband she revealed on social media on April 23.
