Apple Still Provides A Guarantee For An Error MacBook Pro 13

JAKARTA - Apple has quietly extended the Backlight Service Program on the 13-inch MacBook Pro. This service guarantee can be received by MacBook users who have met certain requirements from Apple.

One of them, if the user can show the original purchase receipt for the MacBook from official outlets or three years later. This Mac backlight service guarantee was first introduced in May 2019 and is intended for owners of the 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Launching Apple's support page, some units of these models have errors and problems with the screen backlight brightness. Examples include the appearance of a bright area in a vertical line along the bottom of the screen. Apart from that there are also some screen backlights which completely stop working.

The company also explained that the affected models were products that were sold between October 2016 and February 2018. Later, this free repair will also cover damaged parts of Egypt for up to four years after the launch of each program.

As MacRumors notes, Apple recently updated the company's official support details on Apple's website.

"This program includes eligible MacBook Pro models for 5 years after the first sale or three years from the start of the program," wrote Apple through the company's official website.

Improvement Submission Process

Every user and owner of the 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro is entitled to the service of this program. Either the 13-inch MacBook Pro with four Thunderbolt 3 ports or the 13-inch MacBook Pro with two Thunderbolt 3 ports.

To apply for repairs, users can access the Apple Support page. Later, the 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro will be checked first to determine whether the series meets the requirements of the program.

Also, buyers who have already paid for the backlight repair can request a refund by contacting the company.

Meanwhile, users who are still not sure whether their product is included in the program can find out by accessing the Apple menu on a Mac device. Then, select the About this Mac menu to get more detailed information about the device.
