Regional Office Of The Ministry Of Religion: 88 Percent Or 1,437 Bengkulu Hajj Candidates Have Paid Hajj Fees
The CITY of BENGKULU - Payment of Hajj costs in Bengkulu currently reaches 88 percent of the quota that has been determined by 1,636 people. This was revealed by the Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organizers Division of the Bengkulu Province Regional Office, Intilah in Bengkulu City, Monday, May 1.
The Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Ministry of Religion of Bengkulu Province noted that 1,437 pilgrims for Hajj (JCH) in the area had paid the Hajj Travel Fee (Bipih) 1444 Hijri/2023 AD.
Intilah menyebut untuk jemaah dapat melakukan pempayasan biaya haji di Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) sebagai mitra Badan Pengelola Keuangan Haji (BPKH) dalam melakukan transaksi untuk biaya haji.
However, pilgrims can repay other Islamic banks, such as Bank Muamalat, BTN Syariah, and other banks, according to where JCH first paid off.
Intihan appealed to prospective pilgrims who have been registered to go for Hajj this year to immediately pay Bipih before May 5, 2023.
"We urge prospective pilgrims to pay off immediately, because the payment time is four days left," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 1.
Meanwhile, prospective pilgrims who have made payment can submit documents in the form of passports, proof of payment in full and photos to the Bengkulu Provincial Ministry of Religion Regional Office until May 20, 2023.
"If the Bengkulu Province Bipiah JCH payment process is completed as a whole, the preparation of the Team Chair and the Chairperson of the Karu and Karom group carried out by the Bengkulu Provincial Ministry of Religion Regional Office can be adjusted to the number of JCH departures. In addition, it is also needed to prepare the departure group," said Intihan.
