Customers Want OJK To Don't Just Stand Up About Kresna Life Insurance
JAKARTA - The customer asked the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to immediately take action against Kresna Life Insurance (AJK) regarding the decision to postpone debt payment obligations or PKPU against the life insurance company.
"Customers really hope that the OJK can act immediately, because until now the OJK has still not taken concrete action against PT AJK's PKPU even though customers have repeatedly written OJK and sent personal WhatsApp messages to related OJK officials," said one of Nurlaila's customers in a statement in Jakarta, Tuesday.
Nurlaila said, the reality that is happening now is that the PKPU trial process by the court continues, where on January 15, 2020 AJK through the PKPU management team submitted a peace proposal. According to him, the proposal shocked and troubled customers.
He said, the proposal submitted by AJK in PKPU wrote a grace period to start paying for 12 months from the date of the peace agreement and in the table it was written starting in July 2022.
"Whereas in the payment scheme on September 7, 2020, which was submitted by AJK before PKPU and has been approved by most of the customers holding 8,054 payment policies starting in September 2020, starting with 50 million to customers who have signed a Collective Agreement or PKB. , "said Nurlaila.
Nurlaila said that AJK itself has started to pay part of its obligations to 5,672 policies. However, since the issuance of the PKPU in-between decision on December 10, 2020, AJK has stopped all its payments on the grounds of PKPU.
"Likewise, the payment plans for retirees, seniors and sick people who are in dire need have also stopped," he said.
OJK itself has asked AJK to take legal action and customers have also received and reported that there is a legal basis for AJK to request the revocation of PKPU. However, continued Nurlaila, it turned out that AJK had not taken any legal action at all.
"The customer once again requested that the OJK act immediately in carrying out its main tasks and functions because the state has been given great authority, especially in terms of protecting customers or the community," said Nurlaila.
