Transferred From Commission II To Commission III Of The DPR, Johan Budi: No Specific Assignment

JAKARTA - The PDI-P faction moved a number of its members in the commission. One of the names that also shifted is Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo, who is currently a member of Commission III.

Contacted by VOI, Johan said that his transfer from Commission II in charge of domestic affairs to Commission III in the field of law was carried out since Monday, January 18 yesterday.

"That's right, I was transferred to Commission III since January 18, 2021," said Johan, Tuesday, January 19.

Meanwhile, regarding the reasons for moving the commission, Johan did not provide an explanation. It's just that, he made sure he would work optimally in this new commission.

Because, he assessed, all commissions in the DPR have an important role.

"For me, all Commissions in the DPR are equally important," he stressed.

Apart from that, Johan also stated that he did not receive a specific assignment from his faction in the context of his transfer from Commission II to Commission III.

"There is no specific assignment," he said.

"What is important is that I can be entrusted with my duties and be of benefit to the people," added the former KPK spokesman.

Previously reported, the transfer of a number of PDIP faction members was based on the PDIP DPR Faction Letter Number 04 / F-PDIP / DPR-RI / I / 2021 dated January 18. Apart from Johan, there were other names that were transferred, namely Ribka Tjiptaning from Commission IX to Commission VII, Marinus Gea from Commission III to Commission XI, and Ihsan Yunus from Deputy Chair of Commission VIII to become a member of Commission II.

Regarding this transfer, Secretary of the PDIP faction of the DPR RI, Bambang Wuryanto, confirmed it. He called this faction displacement an ordinary rotation even though there were certain reasons.

"This is an ordinary rotation. But every political decision has an argument, which of course the argument is supported by facts," Bambang told reporters, Tuesday, January 19.

Even so, he advised the transferred faction members to conduct introspection. "All parties affected by rotation are welcome to retrospect and introspect," he concluded.
