OPPO Will Announce New Smartband For Global Market
JAKARTA - Six months ago, the OPPO Band was announced in China. Until now, OPPO has not launched this wearable device in other markets, including Indonesia.
However, that may change once the fitness tracker has been certified in Europe. This is known from the European Economic Community (EEC) certification which reveals for the OPPO Band, evidence that it will soon be announced for the global market with the model number OB19B1.
Regarding the specifications, the OPPO Band has an AMOLED screen measuring 1.1 inches with a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels and a 2.5D curved glass.
This fitness tracker comes with a heart rate monitor, a blood oxygen level detector that works even while you're sleeping, and can track up to 12 different sport modes.
For durability, this OPPO smart bracelet is equipped with a 100mAh capacity battery which is claimed to last up to 14 days of use. To charge from empty to full only takes 1.5 hours.
OPPO Band is sold in three versions in China. The standard alias regular version is sold at 199 Yuan (Rp.432 thousand), while the second version called OPPO Band Fashion which has NFC is sold at 249 Yuan (Rp.541 thousand), and the third version of OPPO Band Eva at 299 Yuan (Rp.650 thousand).
As for sales in the global market, it is likely that the company will only bring in the standard version, while the remaining two are exclusive to the Chinese market.
Until now, there has been no information regarding the launch date, it is likely to be announced along with the Find X3 series smartphone which is scheduled to arrive in March.
