The cause of David Jacobs' death was a train accident. Quoted from VOI, this information was confirmed by the Sawah Besar Police Chief AKP Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie.
"The information is that the victim is an athlete. Regarding the safety of the railroad tracks, that is the domain of KAI. The handling of the case is already at the Central Jakarta Police," he briefly told VOI.
Previously, the Central Jakarta Metro Police itself had investigated the death of a table tennis disabled athlete (right hand disabled) on the edge of the Juanda Station flyover (KA) which borders Gambir and Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.
The victim is David Jacobs (46) who is a resident of Cilandak, South Jakarta. According to information, the victim suffered a wound to the back of the head. Meanwhile, the body found an object that allegedly belonged to the victim, namely a cellphone and a ticket on the KAI Access application with the booking code 9HV69PE.
