Cool, This Blacksmith Made A Knife From Gary Holt's Guitar Strings

JAKARTA - If you thought that Gary Holt's guitar, painted using his own blood, was really very metal, one TikTok user who also works as a blacksmith staked his claim with something potentially more metallic than that; blades made of Holt guitar strings that were used on Slayer's farewell tours.

Launching Loudwire, Tuesday, January 19, Neil Kamimura, a sword maker who emerged victorious at the History Channel competition show, Forged in Fire, is responsible for this ridiculous feat of metal, both in a literal and a figurative sense.

In each episode of the show, four blacksmiths are pitted against each other, challenged to forge a sharp weapon for which the champion takes home a prize of US $ 10,000.

In the TikTok video below, apart from Kamimura's appearance in Forged in Fire, a video montage lightly shows the process of turning discarded guitar strings into handheld weapons.

After the strings are melted down, a preview of the new state of the melted strings is seen as commentators note that some of the bubbles in the liquid appear to resemble the eyes and nose of the skull.
