Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 Flight Attendant Family Oke Dhurrotul Jannah Received IDR 50 Million Compensation From Jasa Raharja
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) handed over compensation to the families of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash victims who were none other than the flight attendant named Oke Dhurrotul Jannah.
According to the announcement of the DVI Team at the Police Headquarters on January 17, 2021, regarding the identification of passengers on the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft, there were an additional five victims who had been identified. So that the number has been identified to be 29 people and one of them is Oke Dhurrotul Jannah who is domiciled in the West Bandung Regency area.
Head of West Java Main Branch Hendri Afrizal conveyed on behalf of the Board of Commissioners, Directors, and the extended family of PT Jasa Raharja to express his deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash.
"PT Jasa Raharja, at the first opportunity, directly contacted / visited the victim's family to communicate the assurance of insurance coverage to the victim's heirs in accordance with applicable regulations," said Hendri as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 19.
Hendri Afrizal on Monday, handed over compensation to the heir who is also the victim's biological mother, Lia Dorujatul Aliyah at the residence of the deceased who lives in Cihanjuang Rahayu Village, Parongpong District, West Bandung Regency. Also attended by Sriwijaya Air Airlines and representatives from the West Java Province Transportation Agency.
The amount of compensation for victims who died is Rp. 50 million in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. 15 of 2017. The compensation is transferred directly to the beneficiary's account in the form of a Bank Rakyat Indonesia savings book.
The settlement of insurance compensation from Jasa Raharja can be carried out in less than 24 hours after the announcement was identified by the Police DVI Team. This is thanks to the cooperation and support of related partners, namely the Sriwijaya Air airline, the National Police Headquarters DVI Team, the Basarnas Team, the Ministry of Transportation Team, Dukcapil, sub-district officials and victims' families as well as other parties who assisted in the process of completing documents.
"The quick delivery of compensation is Jasa Raharja's commitment to provide the best, easy, fast and precise service as a form of the state's presence for victims of traffic accidents and public passenger transportation means," he said.
