101 Satpol PP Makassar Officers Confirmed COVID-19
MAKASSAR - 101 Satpol PP officers from Makassar City, South Sulawesi were confirmed with COVID-19. There were an additional 30 people from 71 people who were previously reported to be exposed to COVID-19.
"Now that there are 101 confirmed cases of COVID-19, our members are exposed," said Head of Satpol PP Ka Makassar Iman Hud, to VOI, Monday, January 18 evening.
Previously, one by one, Satpol PP Makassar personnel were exposed to COVID-19. There were 71 officers who were confirmed positive. Until finally this number increased.
"We have continued this swab, for almost a month, because we want to avoid its spread, how can we know what else the Satpol average is," said the priest,
101 members who confirmed positive are currently in independent isolation in their respective homes. They prepare logistics ranging from foodstuffs to medicines for officers who are independently isolated at home. The logistics is a joint venture of structural officials within the Satpol PP.
"They are currently at home all because they are average, they are OTG, we have to pay attention to them, if they go to hotels, the hotel occupancy is full, the hospital is also full, so, what is important is that we take care of it, the nutrition is better, so we help them with enough basic food, to fulfill 14 days, "he said.
