Muhammad Yusuf said the two convicts were arrested by the Aceh Prosecutor's Office's Fugitive Catching Team (Tabur) and the Aceh Besar District Attorney (Kejari) and the Bireuen Prosecutor's Office.
The arrests of both started with public information.
Before capturing the two of them, the Tabur Team carried out a surveillance to ensure that the people who were informed were really the convicts.
"After confirming the information was correct, the Tabur Team arrested both of them without resistance. The convict Samsul Bahri was arrested at his house, while Mustafa was arrested near his house," said Muhammad Yusuf.
Muhammad Yusuf said that the convict Samsul Bahri was executed at the correctional facility in Bireuen. Meanwhile, the convict Mustafa Ikram is serving his sentence at the correctional facility in Jantho, Aceh Besar.
"The arrest of the two fugitives is inseparable from the support of the community who informed them of their whereabouts. We urge the community to help the Tabur Team which was specially formed to catch fugitives informing the whereabouts of the DPO," said Muhammad Yusuf.
