Kadis Perkim Kerinci Detained By The Prosecutor Regarding Corruption Of Rp. 3 Billion

JAKARTA - Sungai Penuh State Prosecutor investigators forcibly picked up and detained the suspect Nasrun City Perkim Head of Department (Kadis) in a corruption case that cost the state Rp3,043 billion in the 2017-2019 fiscal year.

Head of the Information and Law Section (Kasi Penkum) of the Jambi Prosecutor's Office, Lexy Fhatarany, said that the prosecutor's investigator and the police had forcibly picked up the suspect Nasrun, who had no good intentions to undergo the legal process, so the prosecutor took firm steps on the case.

Nasrun was picked up at his residence at Jalan Depati Parbo, No.207, Koto Lebu Village, Pondok Tinggi District, Kerinci, Monday, at 10:20 WIB and the suspect was immediately taken to HA Thalib Mattaher Hospital for a medical examination and then taken to the Sungai Penuh Prosecutor office by Investigating Attorney to hand over the suspect and Evidence (stage II).

The handover was made from the investigator to the Sungai Penuh State Prosecutor General Prosecutor in a case of alleged corruption at the Housing, Settlement Area and Land Office of Sungai Penuh City for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Fiscal Years and the suspect is now being detained at the Kerinci Police Headquarters for further legal proceedings.

In this case the prosecutor's team of investigators had previously detained the suspect Lusi Afrianti (38), a civil servant of the Sungai Penuh City Perkim Service who together with Nasrun (Kadis) stumbled on a criminal case of corruption in land acquisition and fictitious budgets while serving as treasurer for the service related to a budget worth IDR3,043 billion in 2017-2019.

Head of Section for the General Prosecutor's Office in Jambi, Lexy Fhatarany, said that the two suspects Nasrun and Lusi were now detained for further legal proceedings and the two suspects were entrusted to the Kerinci Police.

The suspects Nasrun and Lusi, during their three-year tenure at the office, had committed a criminal act of corruption at the Sungai Penuh City Perkim Office over land acquisition activities, payment of PJU electricity bills and other budget activities related to the duties and functions of the related SKPD.

Where the office where the two suspects work has a budget that is listed in the Budget Implementation List (DIPA), among the budgets listed in the DIPA there is a budget in the form of land acquisition, payment of electricity bills and other budget activities related to the duties and functions of the related SKPD.

"However, in the implementation of the use of the budget, illegal acts were found, including mark-ups in land purchases, use of fictitious budgets and others, resulting in state financial losses of Rp3,043 billion," he said in Antara, Monday, January 18.

Based on the results of an audit report by the Jambi Provincial BPKP Representative Number SR-229 / PW05 / 5/2020 dated 10 September 2020, that the actions of Lusi, a former treasurer of the Housing, Settlement Area and Land Service of Sungai Penuh City, were regulated and threatened with Primair Corruption.
