Sharing A Bed And Bank Account, These Polyamory Adherents Claim To Be Happy

JAKARTA - Adherents of polyamory relationships who just got married share stories about how they had relationships with more than one person. They say it's not always about sex.

Cassie Brooks-Bowling, creative director (23), lives with her husband Matthew S. Brooks-Bowling (24), a restaurant manager and musician, and wife, Dallas Brooks-Bowling (24), baker and chef in St Pete, Florida. .

They are in a polyamorous relationship where love goes three ways - and they are very happy.

Cassie and Dallas have been a couple for seven years after they met through a friend when they were teenagers. They lived far away for over a year, Dallas in Arizona, before moving together in Florida.

Meanwhile, Matt and Cassie first became friends when they were only 13 and 14 and were homeschooled together before they reunited.

"Dallas and Matt finally performed at the same event in 2015. After the show, Matt and I followed, making plans for lunch, and I felt like something was going on inside of me," Cassie explained as quoted by the Daily Star, Monday, January 18th.

“That feeling didn't really come up until Dallas and I started hanging out with Matt on a regular basis. The relationship between the three of us naturally opens from there - we're not sure what we're doing, but we're just taking it one step at a time. "

In January 2016, they officially decided to go into a polyamorous relationship.

And their love blossomed when the three lovers got married seven weeks ago after proposing to each other on a long journey into the mountains.

Although the marriage law does not allow the relationship of the three of them, their family and friends are just the opposite.

"Our community at St. Pete, Florida, is very open and love-focused, and very, very, queer! We weren't legally married, because we weren't allowed, but that didn't stop us! ”Cassie said.

"Besides, who needs government involvement?" he said.

As a family, the three of them share everything - from home, to beds and bank accounts. There are no set rules as to how they share their time together.

Cassie explained: “One of the biggest advantages of this relationship is security. We can have a better lifestyle with a better work-life balance, because there are three incomes. "

Cassie admits that many people think that her relationship with Matt and Dallas is "about sex." But he said that was not true.

"Actually no, our lives are much richer than the details of our sex lives!" the young woman from Florida ended.
