PALU - Secretary of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership of Palu City, Central Sulawesi, Mulkus Kisman asked Muslims to tolerate each other in responding to the initial difference in Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah. "We hope that the community will prioritize tolerance and not be divided due to differences in the implementation of Eid al-Fitr," said Mulkus Kisman when contacted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 20. Mulkus Kisman said that the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership had determined based on hisab method that Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah/2023 falls on Friday, April 21. He stated that Muhammadiyah's party was friendly in dealing with differences in the beginning of Eid and mutual respect for these differences. "I hope that all Muslims in Palu City, especially in Palu City, can carry out worship properly, safely and peacefully," he said. He added, for the location of the Eid prayer in Palu City itself, the local Muhammadiyah has prepared as many as 14 locations.
