Feeling Confined Freedom, The Dutch Community Demonstrates Rejecting The National Kuncitara Until They Riot

JAKARTA - The Dutch government's national key policy caused a polemic. Thousands of people rallied against this policy. In the end, chaotic.

Protesters in Amsterdam feel the key policy is detrimental to them. They gathered in the plaza in front of the art gallery, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.

Reported by Reuters on Monday, January 18, the protesters equipped themselves with posters containing messages of freedom, such as, "Freedom: stop this lock." They also shouted the words: What do we want? Freedom!

The protesters attended without wearing masks. They also blatantly violated physical distancing rules. The security authorities also took steps to disperse the announcement.

Dissolution was met with resistance. Unrest is inevitable. Protesters also threw fireworks at the police on guard.

The police used water cannons to disperse the crowd. From the rioting, the police secured a hundred people who were suspected of provoking a riot.

Previously, the Dutch government had closed schools and most shops in December. The efforts being made are part of reducing the level of transmission of COVID-19. This is a little different from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic entering the Netherlands.

The owners of policies seem reluctant to promote national keys compared to neighboring countries. However, since the arrival of the second wave of COVID-19 with the increase in virus patients from Wuhan at local hospitals, the government has been forced to impose a national lockdown.
