PN Surabaya Lock Down Due To 11 Positive Officers COVID-19

SURABAYA - The Surabaya District Court is locked down from today until January 22nd. The lock down was implemented following the existence of eleven employees who tested positive for COVID-19 after a mass swab test was carried out.

Public Relations of the Surabaya District Court, Martin Ginting, said that the results of the swab / swab tests on January 13 revealed that there were eleven employees who were positive for COVID-19.

"Eleven people who were positively exposed and the most were from among the substitute registrars," he said as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 18.

The accumulated number of PN Surabaya employees exposed to the virus currently total 15 people including four people who had been treated as COVID-19 patients before the swab test was carried out.

"On the basis of these conditions, the Head of the Surabaya District Court, Mr. Joni, reported to the East Java High Court and received directions to lock down the Surabaya District Court from today until January 22," said Martin.

According to him, the safety of ASN PN Surabaya and the community using PN Surabaya services is the main consideration in this 3rd lock down.

"It is hoped that with this lock down, the Surabaya District Court will accommodate government policies to break the chain of spreading the virus in the Surabaya District Court," continued Martin.

This is important because before COVID-19 and after, the intensity of public visits to the Surabaya District Court was very high, so that the crowd during service hours was very potential as the center of the spread of the virus.

"Moreover, court service users come from various regions, so the Head of the Surabaya District Court feels it is important to temporarily stop public services," said Martin.
