JAKARTA - The bodies of the child's mother, Khasanah (Mother) and Makrufatul Yeti Srianingsih (child), victims of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash arrived at Supadio Airport, Pontianak, Monday, January 18.
"We from the West Kalimantan Provincial Government convey our deepest condolences. Let us pray together that the victims of the Sriwijaya Air plane crash, including the two deceased who are also lecturers of the Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep) are accepted by their religious deeds," said the Head of West Kalimantan Health Office Horisson when receiving the two bodies. reported by Antara.
After being handed over, the two coffins were immediately taken to the funeral home in Gang Lamtoro, Pontianak City by ambulance.
According to the family of the deceased, said Horisson, the two bodies will be buried in the family grave in Punggur, Kubu Raya Regency.
Horisson, who represented the West Kalimantan Provincial Government, expressed his gratitude to related parties who have helped in repatriating the victims of the Sriwijaya Air plane crash.
Arriving at the funeral home, the two coffins were immediately greeted with sobs of the victim's family. The mourners and relatives of the victims seemed to be dissolving in grief.
Then it didn't take long for the two bodies to be immediately converted and buried in Kubu Raya Regency.
Among the officials present at the funeral home, Pontianak Mayor Edi Rusdi Kamtono. Apart from that, there were also some of the deceased's colleagues from Polnep.
"After being converted, the two bodies were immediately buried at the family cemetery on Jalan Sungai Bemban, Punggur Kecil, Kubu Raya Regency," said Tika, one of the mourners.
