Central Java Police Mobile Brigade Team Destroyed Firecracker Explosives
The Gegana Sat Brimob team of the Central Java Police destroyed a number of explosives used to make firecrackers. The destruction was carried out on the banks of the Progo river with the Magelang Police, Central Java Police, Monday, April 17.
Magelang Police Chief Kombes Pol Ruruh Wicaksono said the destroyed evidence was obtained from 10 cases of confiscation of explosives with 16 suspects.
Evidence of fireworks is approximately 200 kg, the firecracker axis is 434 pieces. Also, material that has not finished, such as sulfur, approximately 412.8 kg, potassium 111 kg, aluminum powder or brom as much as 832.8 kg, and firecracker casings as many as 1,190 pieces of various sizes. All of these materials have been disposal or destroyed by the Gegana Team of the Central Java Police Mobile Brigade Unit, on the banks of the Progo river, "said Kombes Pol Ruruh in a written statement, Monday, April 17.
In this regard, the Magelang Police Chief ordered the Sector Police to tighten the action by always coordinating and monitoring with the Camat, Danramil, and Village Heads to the Head of RW and the Head of RT.
"Because the peak will be on Eid al-Fitr. So don't let things go uncooled, such as in Kaliangkrik or other areas where firecrackers carry victims of lives," said Kombes Ruruh.
Not only that, but the Magelang Police also succeeded in disclosing 22 cases of liquor (Miras), with evidence of 2,586 bottles of various brands, ciu/tuak 103 liters.
In this activity, the Magelang Police also destroyed 266 pieces of hundreds of Brong exhausts, uncovered gambling cases and thwarted brawls between groups in the Salaman, Ngluwar, Secang and Muntilan areas.
