JCI Rebounded To 5,923.18, Consider Analyst Stock Recommendations
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) managed to rebound at the opening of trading on Thursday, February 13. The JCI this morning rose 10.10 points or 0.2 percent to 5,923.18.
This morning, there were 88 stocks rising, 39 stocks weakening, and 106 stocks stagnating. Trade transactions reached IDR 66.2 billion from 56.1 million shares traded.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst M. Nafan Aji Gusta Utama predicts that the JCI still has the opportunity to strengthen today. "There is a potential for a rebound in the JCI movement so that it has the opportunity to go to the nearest resistance," he said.
The resistance area referred to by Nafan is in the range 5,939 to 5,988. Meanwhile, the opportunity for JCI to be in the support area is in the range between 5,877 and 5,839.
As for a number of share recommendations he recommended today, including PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), PT Astra International Indonesia Tbk (ASII), PT BRI Syariah Tbk (BRIS), PT Sumarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), and PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk ( WSBP).
Meanwhile, Reliance Sekuritas analyst, Lanjar Nafi, said investors would, among others, pay attention to some US economic data in today's trading. Meanwhile, from within the country, the condition of investors selling off risky assets which is expected to be conducive will attract investors' attention.
"Investors will turn their attention to data on oil inventories, inflation rates and employment in the US," he explained.
However, blue chip stocks are still considered quite attractive. Lanjar also recommended shares of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR). Then PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR), PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT), and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR).
This morning, the stocks that entered the top gainers, namely PT Era Mandiri Cemerlang Tbk (FISH) rose IDR 50 or 24.51 percent to IDR 254, shares of PT Industri and Perdagangan Bintraco Dharma Tbk (CARS) rose IDR 19 or 22.35 percent to IDR 104 and shares of PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) increased by IDR 14 or 10.77 percent to IDR 144.
As for the stocks that entered the top losers, among others, the shares of PT Lancartama Sejati Tbk (TAMA) fell IDR 64 or 13.85 percent to IDR 398, shares of PT Bima Sakti Pertiwi Tbk (PAMG) fell IDR 4 or 3.25 percent to IDR 119 and shares of PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI) decreased by IDR 6 or 2.68 percent to IDR 218.
