Homecomers Don't Worry! Lebaran Train Tickets Are Still Here
JAKARTA - Train tickets (KA) for the Lebaran 2023 homecoming period are still available.
These tickets can be purchased through channels or channels that provide long-distance train ticket sales for Lebaran 2023 homecoming.
Acting (Plt) EVP Passenger Transport Marketing & Sales of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Ririn Widi Astutik admitted that he had asked channel operators for train ticket sales to remind customers of the availability of tickets.
"So hopefully this awareness can arise to the public that KAI still has seats available to support Eid transportation," Ririn said in a media briefing in Jakarta, Friday, April 14.
For your information, PT KAI provides 6,936,532 seats in the Lebaran homecoming period, from April 14 to May 2, 2023. This number consists of 4,076,488 seats from the parent company (KAI), and 2,860,044 seats from the subsidiary (KAI Commuter and KAI Airport).
Of the 4,076,488 seats, consisting of 3,065,404 long-distance trains (2,520,056 regular and 545,348 additional trains), and 1,011,084 local trains.
Then, 2,860,044 subsidiaries. The details are 2,701,644 seatings for trains managed by KAI Commuter and 158,400 seats for trains managed by KAI Airport.
As of April 14, 2023, long-distance train tickets that have been sold for train departures during the Eid 2023 Transport period are 2,018,764 tickets or 66 percent of the total long-distance train tickets provided, namely 3,065,404 tickets.

Meanwhile, based on the date of departure for long-distance trains that became favorites, 90 percent of them were ordered on April 24, 2023; April 25, 2023 as much as 88 percent; and April 19 & 20, 2023, 87 percent.
