Arriving this morning, assistance in the form of ready-to-eat food, children's food, rolling tents, mattresses, family equipment and multipurpose tents was immediately distributed.

"Assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs arrived this morning. This assistance was then stored in two posts, namely the Mamuju Social Service and the Mamuju Regency BPBD Office. For distribution of aid, we divided it based on needs. For logistical assistance such as tents and so on, it was at BPBD. Meanwhile, for the refugees' meals and so, that's the responsibility of the social service, "explained Kasmin as quoted by Antara.

Meanwhile, the Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims of the Ministry of Social Affairs, M Safii Nasution, explained that the Ministry of Social Affairs assistance consisted of central emergency response logistical assistance worth IDR 979.8 million, logistics assistance for eastern regional warehouses worth IDR 621.9 million.

Furthermore, heir compensation for the eight identified victims was IDR 120 million for each heir worth IDR 15 million.

All heirs of victims of the disaster who die will be given compensation with the same value.

The details of the assistance submitted by the Ministry of Social Affairs included 2,500 packets of ready-to-eat food, 1,200 packages of children's food, 500 rolled tents, 1,000 mattresses.

Furthermore, 700 blankets, 200 kitchen utensils, 10 multipurpose tents, 500 packages of kids ware, 500 packages of ford ware, 40 units of velbeds, 370 mattresses, 30 packages of clothing, 20 packages of Tagana equipment.
