51.5 Percent Of Net Profit, Garudafood Distributes Dividends Of IDR 219.2 Billion

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) decided to distribute cash dividends of IDR 219.2 billion. This amount is 51.5 percent of the 2022 net profit which was recorded at IDR 425.2 billion.

The cash dividend price distributed is IDR 6 per share and will be distributed on May 16, 2023 to all shareholders registered in the Register of Shareholders on May 4, 2023.

"Meanwhile, Rp2 billion is designated as mandatory reserves whose use is in accordance with Article 20 of the Company's Budget and the remaining Rp204 billion is used as general reserves whose use has not been determined," said Garudafood President Director Hardianto Atmadja in a statement to the media, Friday, April 14.

Hardianto added that the Company's profit per share also grew by 0.4 percent compared to the same period the previous year to Rp11.64 per share.

He also explained that the Company managed to record net profit revenue attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 425.2 billion. The net profit growth was supported by an increase in net sales of 19.4 percent or grew from IDR 8.8 trillion in 2021 to IDR 10.5 trillion in 2022.

Hardianto said the food segment in packaging contributed 88.7 percent to the company's total sales and grew by 22.1 percent. Sales in the domestic market also increased by 20.1 percent worth IDR 10.1 trillion while export sales grew by 5.5 percent worth IDR 412 billion.

The company also posted the Company's total assets on December 31, 2022, amounting to 7.3 trillion Rupiah. Meanwhile, the total equity is IDR 3.4 trillion and total liabilities are IDR 3.9 trillion.

"We want to keep the momentum of positive sales growth throughout 2022. The achievement of sales performance in 2022 has exceeded IDR 10 trillion or grew 19.4 percent from the previous year," concluded Hardianto.
