Ahmad Dhani: The Concept Of A Night At The Orchestra Can Be Used By Anyone, As Long As You Ask For Permission First

JAKARTA - In a press conference at the Dewa 19 A Night At The Orchestra concert in Jakarta, Tuesday, Ahmad Dhani said this concert was his IP (Intellectic Property) and could be used by other Indonesian musicians.

"The plan is for not only Dewa 19 to use the concept of A Night At The Orchestra. This is my IP (Intellectic Property) that anyone can use. As long as the permit is yes," said Ahmad Dhani.

In addition, the singer of Munajat Cinta also has a desire to collaborate with other bands with similar concepts.

"I really want to make Noah, Sheila On 7, Padi, with my orchestration arrangement. Because if the Dewa 19 album already presents orchestration, for example like the album Bintang Lima. Well, the three musicians mentioned earlier are not identical to that," said Ahmad Dhani.

"And their third (from) music, there are still many empty gaps to fill the actual orchestra," he said.

It didn't stop there, he also said his aspirations to form a new civilization that was hungry with orchestral performances.

"Because to be honest I want to form a new civilization. And this is difficult. Because it has something to do with the soul. And I think that Jakarta and its modernity are ready to watch orchestral music," he explained.

"Because one of the progresses of a nation is where people watch the orchestra. The only problem is whether it can be made a week or once a month," he added.

Aldo from the Redline Kreasindo also had similar intentions. However, he said that for now the public must be educated first on orchestral music.

"I also hope that this concept will continue to exist in the future. Why now we have not implemented it once a week or once a month, because at this time we want to educate the public first," concluded Aldo.
