JAKARTA For passengers who experience delays in buses at Pulo Gebang Terminal, there is no need to worry, because the manager has provided special lodging for passengers who will go home for the Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri holiday.
"We provide a rest area for bus passengers at a cost of Rp. 15,000 per night. This facility can only be used for passengers who have pocketed tickets," said Head of the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Implementation Unit Hendra Kurniawan, quoting Antara, Tuesday, April 11.
Hendra said that passengers who use this lodging facility are usually due to transiting or arriving at the terminal too early or late at night to return home.
The login measuring about 3x2 meters is equipped with mattress facilities, air conditioning, and a bathroom on the outside. The facility has been around since the end of 2020.
According to him, the room can only accommodate one adult. However, for separate men's and women's rooms even though they are husband and wife.
"For the men's room there are nine booths, and there are six rooms for women, then the bathroom is outside," he said.
In addition to the lodging facilities, he added, there is also a children's playground and a lactation room for breastfeeding mothers.
Hendra hopes that the presence of these several facilities can make travelers more comfortable.
"We want travelers to be comfortable with the facilities we provide," he said.
