Binance Cooperates With Showmax To Increase Crypto Adoption In Africa
JAKARTA - The leading crypto exchange, Binance, recently announced a partnership with Africa's video streaming service, Showmax, in what is described as a collaboration that will deepen crypto adoption on the continent.
According to a report from Business Day, about 500 Binance users in Nigeria who register to become active participants on Web3 will be rewarded with a video streaming subscription for a month.
Binance's Emmanuel Eb anehicita commented on this latest crypto exchange campaign to bring crypto to the general public, "We are excited to collaborate with Showmax to provide an extraordinary opportunity for our new users to become active participants in Web3. This promotion comes at a time when many Africans enthusiastically embrace the underlying technology behind crypto."
Ebehita added that this latest campaign also demonstrates the crypto exchange's commitment to providing "accessible and convenient platforms," thus allowing users to participate in the digital economy.
Opeoluwa Filani, General Manager of Showmax Nigeria, praised this collaboration which will involve more people using the company's video streaming platform.
According to reports, users who wish to register for crypto education and adoption initiatives from Binance must complete registration and make transactions worth 10 US dollars (Rp148 thousand). Users will confirm their participation in this campaign by filling out the forms provided.
