COVID-19 Makes Job Lonely, Reasons For Vocalist Band Captain To Use Sabu Until Police Arrested
BANDUNG - The band's vocalist Captain Ahmad Zaki was arrested by police in Bandung, West Java. Zaki admitted that he had just taken drugs again after being rehabilitated.
"I used 2015, stopped in 2018 and then I was rehabilitated. Now I just use it again, ”said Zaki at Polrestabes Bandung, Friday, January 15.
Zaki admitted to consuming crystal meth because there was no work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Because there was little work, so I used methamphetamine," said Zaki.
In the arrest of the vocalist Kapten Band, the police confiscated evidence in the form of a plastic wrap suspected of having methamphetamine weighing 0.29 grams.
"After that, urine tests were conducted on the two suspects, and the results were positive for methamphetamine," said Head of Bandung Police Drugs Sub-Division AKBP Ricky Hendarsyah.
Ricky said the arrests were made on Wednesday (13/1) evening, at 20.30 WIB. Previously, he said, the police received reports of locations around Sadang Serang, Bandung City, where drug use often occurred.
AZ was then arrested with his colleague with the initials SP in AZ's rented room. But Ricky made sure that SP was not a member of the same band as AZ.
According to Ricky, AZ got the shabu from someone with the initials MG. Until now, according to him, the police are still pursuing the MG.
"The methamphetamine was obtained from MG by buying it at a price of Rp. 250 thousand through an intermediary SP (AZ's partner)," he said.
