Former Director Of Catching Fishes Examined By KPK Regarding Benur Bribery

JAKARTA - Former KKP Capture Fisheries Director, Zulfikar Mochtar was summoned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). He will be questioned as a witness in the case of the suspected bribery of the fry export license.

"Witness Zulrikar Mochtar will be questioned as a witness for the SJT suspect (Suharjito, owner of PT Dua Putra Perkasa)," said Acting KPK spokesman in his statement, Jakarta, Friday, January 15.

In addition, the KPK also summoned several witnesses. They include, Devi Kolamasari as housekeeper; Qushairi Rawi as durian seller; Dr., Ir. Rina Msi as the Head of Fish Quarantine for Quality Control and Safety of Fishery Products of the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.

"They will also be questioned as witnesses in the same case," said Ali.

Then the KPK also summoned two other witnesses. Namely Agus Kurnawanto as the Ship Manager for PT DPP and Adi Sutejo, a staff. The two of them were examined as witnesses for the suspected former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo.

"These two witnesses were examined for the EP suspect," said Ali.

In this case, the KPK has appointed Edhy Prabowo as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries along with two of his staff, Safri and Andreau Pribadi Misata; the management of PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK) named Siswadi; the wife of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries staff named Ainul Faqih; and Amiril Mukminin was named a suspect in receiving bribes related to the export license for fry. Meanwhile, the suspect who gave the bribe was the Chairman of PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama (PT DPPP), Suharjito.

Edhy Prabowo and five other people are suspected of accepting bribes from Suharjito and a number of exporters related to the export license for fry, whose transportation services can only use PT Aero Citra Kargo.
