National Sugar Stock Is Sufficient For The Next Months

JAKARTA - The National Leadership Council of the Indonesian People's Sugar Association (APTRI) ensures that the national sugar stock is available sufficient to meet consumption sugar needs over the coming months. "The consumption sugar stock at the end of December 2022 reached 1.9 million tons. Plus the import quota for 2023 is 1.45 million tons so that a total of 3.35 million tons, while the need for sugar consumption is only 230,000 tons," said APTRI General Chair Soemitro Samadikoen, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, April 5.
