Semen Indonesia Is Transforming By Introducing A New Logo

JAKARTA - The state-owned cement company, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, introduced its new logo that reads SIG. Changing the logo is part of the company's transformation to answer the challenges in the field of building materials and provide solutions to all stakeholders.

The inauguration of the new logo was carried out by the President Director of Semen Indonesia, Hendi Prio Santoso together with the President Commissioner of Semen Indonesia, Soekarwo, the Deputy Minister of BUMN, Budi Gunadi Sadikin and the Expert Staff of the Ministry of PUPR, A. Gani Ghazaly Akman. in Jakarta, Tuesday 11 February.

President Director of Semen Indonesia Hendi Prio Santoso said, Semen Indonesia has now evolved, from a cement company to a provider of building material solutions.

"The company wants to be at the forefront of providing innovative, newest and value-added building material solutions in the regional arena," Hendi said in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, February 12.

According to Hendi, the solutions created not only meet stakeholder expectations, but become a driving force in the growth of the building material industry that pays attention to sustainability.

"We are able to become a pioneer in the building material industry that empowers stakeholders to create sustainable living in the future," said Hendi.

Deputy Minister of BUMN, Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that currently state-owned companies must be careful about changes.

"Companies must adapt to changes because it can cause many businesses to die, but on the one hand, new businesses emerge," said Budi.

Of the several state-owned companies that he has noticed, Semen Indonesia is the best company in dealing with this change.

"In the future, we hope that Semen Indonesia products will become the main component used in building public housing, magnificent buildings and monumental buildings in Indonesia," said Budi.

Meanwhile, Head of the Communication Department of the Semen Indonesia Company, Sigit Wahono, added that the GIS business transformation was carried out to answer the growing needs of consumers.

"Apart from developing an environmentally friendly way of operating, SIG is committed to developing ways of building that will ensure sustainability in the future," said Sigit.

The company, he explained, has now become an example of a provider of building material solutions that supports sustainable living by producing products that refer to limited natural resources and community needs.

"The company is committed to continuously realizing and ensuring sustainability will occur," said Sigit.

Sigit Wahono explained, in addition to products, the company integrates various services related to development needs, such as the need for a design (architect) and builder (contractor) in an online-based network platform (Buddy Bangun).

"This platform is expected to be a solution that makes it easier for stakeholders to meet the needs of building materials," said Sigit.
