A Day After Being Injected With The COVID-19 Vaccine, National Police Chief General Idham: I'm Fine

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Idham Azis told of his condition after becoming one of the people who were injected with the COVID-19 vaccine in the national vaccination program. He said he didn't have any symptoms.

"I'm fine," said Idham Azis in his statement, Thursday, January 14.

Apart from saying that his body was fine and that he had no side effects, Idham Azis also said there was no pain when the vaccine was injected into him.

He said the team of doctors who injected the vaccine into his body worked well and quickly. Because, without realizing it, the vaccine had already been injected.

"Suddenly it was finished (fast process)," he said.

As previously reported, General Idham Azis was the first person to be injected with the COVID-19 vaccine in the symbolic national vaccination program at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

"I was the first person in the National Police to receive the COVID-19 vaccine," he said, Wednesday, January 13.

On this occasion the National Police Chief also appealed to the public to participate in the success of this vaccination program.

"I want the entire National Police and also the public to take part in this vaccination and not be afraid so that we all get out of the danger of COVID-19," he said.
