PONTIANAK - Regent of Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan, Muda Mahendrawan, said that his party will make a direct approach with the community to make the COVID-19 vaccination program a success.

"There is no need to threaten people who do not want to be vaccinated, because if this condition is faced with calmness, if any of our citizens are still feeling doubtful or afraid, they will be calmer and I am sure they want to be vaccinated," said Muda, opening the declaration. "If you don't want to, please, that's an individual right, but there's no need to blow negative news about this vaccine, because I'm sure the people of Kubu Raya understand and know very well the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccination," he said.

The Regent of Kubu Raya asked all parties to invite the public to see that this vaccination is a positive thing so that the COVID-19 pandemic can end quickly.

"Who doesn't want to see our children go to school face-to-face again, who doesn't want to carry out normal activities anymore. Of course we want everything to no longer worry and the economy can recover," he said.
