Kombes Riko said the arrest of the drug dealer was the result of the development of the arrests of three methamphetamine dealers on Monday 11 January at a hotel in Medan.
The three suspects with the initials RS, FS and ESR are citizens of Aceh Province. Of the three suspects, officers secured 1.9 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
From the results of the interrogation of the three suspects, the officers managed to secure the suspect MS in a hotel on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Medan.
"From the suspect MS, the officers secured 25 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine evidence," he said.
When the development was about to be carried out, the suspect MS attacked the officers by hitting them with handcuffs and wanted to seize the firearms belonging to the officers.
The officers then took firm, precise and measured actions that caused the MS suspect to die.
