JCI A Week Strengthens To 6,805, The Average Daily Transaction Volume Drops 11.51 Percent

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) has experienced strengthening for a week. JCI closed this week at the level of 6,805.28.

Citing IDX data, Jakarta, Saturday, April 1, the JCI in the period 27 to 31 March 2023 strengthened 0.64 percent compared to the previous week at the level of 6,762.25.

The increase also occurred in the market capitalization of the Exchange by 1.04 percent to Rp9,488.18 trillion. This achievement is compared to last week's closing of Rp9,390.84 trillion.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange for a week decreased by 11.51 percent to 15.276 billion shares. Where last week was 17.262 billion shares.

The average daily transaction value of the Exchange decreased by 5.7 percent to Rp9.75 trillion from Rp10.34 trillion in the previous week.

Furthermore, the average daily transaction frequency of the Exchange also decreased by 0.39 percent to 1,220,053 from 1,224,863 transactions a week earlier.

Foreign investors today recorded a net purchase value of IDR 362.96 billion. Throughout 2023 foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of IDR 6.62 trillion.
