The Rental Is Only IDR 10 Thousand, Social Minister Risma Affirms Sentra Mulia Jaya Flats Can't Change Hands

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini warned that residents of the Sentra Mulia Jaya Jakarta Flats should not transfer their homes because the sanctions would lose their lease rights. Social Minister Risma is worried if the residence changes hands, because the rental is very cheap, which is Rp. 10,000. "If it is transferred then both of us will ask to leave. So those who inhabit the new and old ones are no longer given rights," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

As is the case in Surabaya, each room in the flat will be installed with a photo of the occupants. The Minister of Social Affairs said that the government did not just ask them to move, but empower residents to be independent. According to him, almost most residents want to sell food. There are also those who ask for help with tools to open a tire patch. The goal is that the residents can get out of poverty. The Ministry of Social Affairs will also conduct routine surveys to control the residents. Furthermore, Social Minister Risma strives for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government so that PPKS children can go to school in Jakarta. The reason is, most of them come from outside Jakarta, and need assistance to change schools in order to get a decent education.
