JAKARTA - Raffi Ahmad became a representative of the millennial generation as a recipient of the COVID-19 vaccine with President Joko Widodo on Wednesday, January 13. However, a few hours after receiving the vaccine Raffi suddenly became a hot topic on social media after circulating photos of him coming to an event without wearing a mask.

In the screenshots of IG Stories circulating on social media, Raffi takes a photo with Anya Geraldine, Nagita Slavina, and Gading Marten, without wearing a mask.

The upload provoked a number of comments, including from actress and singer Sherina Munaf. Sherina, who previously uploaded the story of her husband who had to isolate himself due to close contact with people with COVID-19, regretted Raffi's actions.

Sherina said that Raffi Ahmad as the recipient of the first COVID-19 vaccine should be a good example of implementing health protocols.

Spokesperson for the COVID-19 vaccination, Dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro, reminded the public, including Raffi Ahmad, to continue implementing health protocols even after receiving the COVID-19 vaccination.

Confessing to be careless

Raffi Ahmad did not try to justify his swarming actions. He admitted to being careless and apologized for upsetting the public.
