Out Of The MNH Agency, Chung Ha's New Album Status Is Questioned
JAKARTA - Chung Ha did not renew his exclusive contract with MNH Entertainment. His contract is confirmed to expire on April 29, 2023.
MNH Entertainment as the agency confirmed the news. Today, Thursday, March 30, the agency explained their position as well as the latest news on Chung Ha's unreleased album.
"We would like to announce our exclusive contract with Chung Ha, who debuted in 2016 and with us for seven years will expire on April 29, 2023," MNH Entertainment said in an official statement citing StarNews.
"Furthermore, we ask for the understanding of fans regarding the fact that Bare&Rare Part. 2 will not be released under our management due to internal problems," they continued.
It is known that the first part of the Bare&Rare was released in July 2022 with the main singlebullying. So far, the agency has not explained whether the second part was released with another label.
"We thank Chung Ha who was with our agency for a long time, and we thank all the BYULHARANG ( Chung Ha fans) who supported him," the agency said.
Chung Ha joined MNH Entertainment since training. In 2016, he was sent to compete in Produce 101 so he got a place in the IOI group.
After that, Chung Ha had a solo career by releasing two studio albums, four mini albums, and several singles.
He also starred in several event titles such as Entourage, Idol Drama Operation Team, YG Future Strategy Office, and Top Management.
Meanwhile, Chung Ha confirmed his performances at the CDMX CAMPFEST music festival in Mexico this August. He will appear with BamBam, KARD, iKON, and VIVIZ and others.
