Microsoft Gives Bing Chat the Ability to Solve Complicated Math Problems

JAKARTA - Microsoft's Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot, Bing Chat, is reported to have a new feature to help solve complex math problems.

According to Microsoft's Head of Advertising and Web Services, Mikhail Parakhin, Bing Chat can now address the problem by introducing a more polished and aesthetically pleasing format for math results.

If you are 10% lucky (like me :-)), you might see the math is actually well formatted. Coming soon to a Bing Chat near you,” tweeted @MParakhin.

Parakhin stated that this experimental trial feature has been available to only 10 percent of users for all chat modes and is expected to launch soon.

The feature came about when users recently shared their thoughts on Twitter about whether Microsoft has plans to include full math syntax as a result of completing math queries in the Bing chat interface.

However, they argue currently, only Bard shows it perfectly, as quoted from Onmsft, Thursday, March 30th.

Previously announced, Microsoft recently increased the daily Bing Chat chat turn limit to more, namely 200 and the turn limit per chat session to 20.
