Resident Evil 4 Remake Has Been Sold For More Than 3 Million Units Two Days After Release

Capcom has announced that its newest game Resident Evil 4 Remake for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series XS and PC have sold more than 3 million units worldwide.

This Resident Evil waralaba features a survival horror game in which players use various weapons and other items to escape a frightening situation.

"The cumulative delivery of the games in this series has now exceeded 135 million units since the first title was launched in 1996," the company said in an announcement on its official website.

So, after 27 years accompanying gamers around the world, the Resident Evil franchise has now become Capcom's flagship game series.

"Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the original title of 2005. In addition to reworking the story and modernizing the feel of the game, the 2023 release will provide a fresh gameplay experience for both fans of this series and newcomers, featuring highly immersive visuals supported by Capcom's latest RE ENGINE graphics technology," Capcom added.

Simultaneously by securing high scores on online review sites, Resident Evil 4 Remake also received praise and attention, where players can enjoy opening the game, resulting in title sales worldwide exceeding 3 million units in the first two after release.
