Riau Islands Governor Issues Decree On Adjustment Of Panggur-Jaguh Telaga Route Tariffs, IDR 134 Thousand Adult Passengers

TANJUNGPINANG - Governor of the Riau Islands (Kepri) Ansar Ahmad issued Decree (SK) Number 455 of 2023 to adjust the tariff for crossing the Roro Ship between islands on the Telaga Punggur (Batam)-Jaguh (Lingga) route."With the issuance of the governor's decree, the new tariff has been adjusted, hopefully the flow of logistics goods and passengers will run smoothly," said Head of the Riau Islands Transportation Service, Junaidi in Tanjungpinang, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, March 29.Junaidi explained that the Riau Islands Provincial Government operates a roro ship with the Telaga Punggur - Jaguh route using KMP Singkil to support the smooth delivery of logistics and inter-island passengers.The operation of the KMP Singkil roro ship is the result of a Forkopimda Kepri meeting conducted in Lingga Regency some time ago. KMP Singkil will replace KMP Glamin who is currently entering treatment. "KMP Glad to finish treatment, will be re-operated as usual," he said.Junaidi said that in the Decree of the Governor of the Riau Islands, the tariff for the Roro Telaga Punggur - Jaguh was stated, including adult passengers at a rate of Rp. 134 thousand and children Rp. 14 thousand.Furthermore, vehicle tariffs per unit, each class I vehicle Rp139 thousand, class II Rp243,000, and class III Rp1,061,000.Then class IV vehicles for passenger vehicles are Rp1,994,000 and goods vehicles Rp1,941,000, class V vehicles for passenger vehicles, namely Rp3,118,000 and goods vehicles Rp3,012,000.Class VI vehicles for passenger vehicles, namely Rp4,351,000 and goods vehicles Rp3,885,000, class VII vehicles are subject to tariffs of Rp5,090,000. Class VIII vehicles are subject to tariffs of Rp7,105,000, and class IX vehicles are subject to tariffs of Rp10,267,000."This tariff adjustment still pays attention to the interests and abilities of the community as users of transportation services and the interests of ferry transportation service providers," he said.
